BSBALL: Baseball swept at home

Mount St. Mary's baseball was swept this weekend against Canisius in non-conference action on Saturday. The Golden Griffins (11-1) won the first game 4-2 and clinched the night game 12-4. Led by Ryan Martin and Nina Victorin, the Mount St. Mary's men's and women's track and field teams finished third and fourth, respectively, at the Ram Invitational in Richmond, Va. this past weekend. The Mount St. Mary's men's lacrosse team vied to erase its recent string of losses as it opened its MAAC regular season play on Saturday against the Canisius Golden Griffins. The Mount came up short in a tough outing, ultimately losing to Canisius 11-7. WSBALL: Softball wins two of three at Hoya Invitational

The Mount won two of its three softball games this past weekend at the Hoya Invitational in Washington, D.C. The Mountaineers started out by beating Holy Cross 3-2 in eight innings, before losing to Georgetown 3-7 and then winning against Seton Hall 2-0. TENNIS: Men's and women's tennis falls to Delaware

The Delaware Blue Hens swept Mount St. Mary's men's and women's tennis 7-0 on Sunday. For the men's singles, Favio Osorio lost 6-2, 6-0 in No. 1.
